Während die Republikaner jubeln, herrscht auf der anderen Seite des Ganges eisiges Schweigen. Die Demokraten erheben sich zwar aus Respekt vor dem Amt, doch sie klatschen nicht. Es gibt kein Klatschen, nur versteinerte Mienen! Nun ist es Zeit für die mit Spannung erwartete „State of the Union“-Rede 2026, die wichtigste politische Rede in den Vereinigten Staaten.
Während seine Republikaner mit frenetischen „USA! USA!“-Chören das Kapitol zum Beben brachten, zeichnete Trump das Bild einer Supermacht: Die Grenzen dicht, die Wirtschaft auf Rekordkurs und die Feinde der USA vor Angst erstarrt! Eine „Transformation für alle Zeiten“ und „dies ist das goldene Zeitalter Amerikas!“, so der Präsident euphorisch.
