Se presenta una reflexión sobre cómo aprende realmente la mente humana frente al auge de las máquinas que también “aprenden”. Explicas que aprender no es acumular datos, sino construir estructuras mentales mediante el procesamiento de la información. Describes la memoria de trabajo y la memoria de largo plazo para señalar que la sobrecarga de información interrumpe la comprensión, y que el aprendizaje ocurre cuando elaboramos, explicamos y aplicamos lo aprendido. Se advierte que delegar el pensamiento a la inteligencia artificial nos priva del proceso que transforma la información en conocimiento. Se concluye que la inteligencia artificial solo será educativa si considera la arquitectura cognitiva humana, ayudándonos a aprender, no a sustituir el esfuerzo mental que ha permitido nuestra evolución cultural.
