Pentol Crepes Jember, Kuliner Unik dari Ikan Cakalang dan Tahu
JAWA TIMUR, KOMPAS.TV - Crepes biasanya terbuat dari tepung terigu atau gandum, tetapi di Kabupaten Jember, Jawa Timur, terdapat inovasi unik berupa kue dadar tipis bernama pentol crepes atau pentol gepek yang terbuat dari adonan ikan cakalang dan tahu.Makanan ini disajikan di sebuah warung di Jalan Bungur, Kelurahan Gebang, Kecamatan Patrang. Proses pembuatannya cukup sederhana, dimulai dari merebus adonan pentol hingga matang, lalu ditiriskan menggunakan loyang panas.
Setelah itu, pentol dipipihkan menggunakan alat pemanas bersuhu tinggi hingga berbentuk tipis dan rata seperti crepes atau leker.
Pentol gepek disajikan dengan sambal kanji pedas yang kaya rempah, terbuat dari campuran kanji, cabai merah, cabai hijau, bawang merah, bawang putih, dan bumbu lainnya.
Perpaduan rasa gurih dari ikan cakalang dan tahu, dengan sambal yang pedas menyengat, membuat makanan ini terasa nikmat dan bikin ketagihan. Kreasi kuliner ini menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi pecinta jajanan unik dan pedas di Jember.
