KLB Campak di Sumenep: 2.100 Kasus, 17 Anak Meninggal Dunia | SAPA MALAM

SUMENEP, KOMPAS.TV - Kasus campak di Kabupaten Sumenep mencapai lebih dari 2.100 selama Januari hingga Agustus 2025.

Cuaca dan angka imunisasi rendah akibat misinformasi jadi beberapa alasan pemicu penyebaran masifnya.

Hayat, warga Desa Billapora Rebba, Kecamatan Lenteng, Kabupaten Sumenep, Jawa Timur, nelangsa.

Buah hatinya yang baru berusia dua bulan, sudah beberapa hari belakangan terbaring lemas akibat campak.

Pria berusia 32 tahun ini tak menduga anak keduanya ini kena campak, padahal sebelumnya sudah imunisasi.

Buah hati Hayat jadi satu dari 2.100 lebih kasus campak di Kabupaten Sumenep selama Januari hingga Agustus 2025.

Dari angka itu, 17 pasien di antaranya meninggal dunia.

Menurut Dinas Kesehatan, Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (Dinkes P2KP) Kabupaten Sumenep, berbagai hal menyebabkan penularan masif campak, mulai dari ketakutan warga akan efek samping vaksin hingga faktor cuaca.

Akibatnya, Pemprov Jawa Timur menetapkan status Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) campak di Kabupaten Sumenep.

Dinkes P2KP Sumenep menargetkan imunisasi massal dengan total sasaran hingga 73.969 anak.

Program ini akan berlangsung selama 21 hari dari pekan ini guna mencapai target 95 persen dari total sasaran.

Salah satunya dilakukan di sekolah, meski menemui sejumlah kendala.

Kementerian Kesehatan mencatat lebih dari 3.400 kasus terkonfirmasi campak terjadi sepanjang Januari hingga Agustus 2025.

Kemenkes menetapkan 46 KLB campak pada 42 kabupaten/kota di 14 provinsi.

Kementerian Kesehatan mengakui misinformasi dan disinformasi vaksin campak di kalangan masyarakat masih jadi pekerjaan rumah pemerintah.

Penularan campak lebih cepat daripada Covid-19 dan menyebabkan kematian.

Tapi campak mampu dicegah dengan vaksin dan penanganan tepat.
