Due le situazioni critiche che appesantiscono il vertice della NATO in corso ad Ankara già critico di suo, dove Trump sta lanciando accuse contro tutti i paesi dell’alleanza. Prima situazione: Trump sembra in rotta di collisione con Netanyahu proprio sulla Turchia che ospita il vertice. Il presidente americano infatti è intenzionato a fornire i caccia F35 alla Turchia, paese che per Netanyahu è un nemico. Un paese dell’Occidente qual è la Turchia non può ricevere sistemi bellici sia dagli Stati Uniti sia dalla Russia; ci stiamo riferendo ai sistemi di difesa aerea S-400.
L’altro fattore destabilizzante al di fuori del vertice: gli Stati Uniti hanno effettuato una nuova serie di attacchi aerei contro l’Iran in risposta, secondo Washington, agli attacchi iraniani degli scorsi giorni contro il traffico mercantile nello Stretto di Hormuz. Trump si pronuncia sul memorandum d’intesa con l’Iran: “Penso che sia finito”. L’Iran per ritorsione ha colpito basi americane in Kuwait e in Bahrein.
Dal discorso del Segretario Generale della NATO Mark Rutte, sempre durante il vertice, emergono chiari i programmi di Bruxelles e delle cancellerie europee per i mesi e gli anni a venire: meno politiche sociali, più programmi di guerra.
