„Die haben den Schuss nicht gehört!“ Ulf Poschardt rechnet mit den Eliten ab | MEINUNGSFREIHEITNach dem starken AfD-Ergebnis in Sachsen-Anhalt kritisiert Ulf Poschardt die Reaktionen aus Politik und Medien scharf. Ihn habe nicht nur das Wahlergebnis überrascht, sondern vor allem die aus seiner Sicht „sprachliche, intellektuelle und mediale Hilflosigkeit“ der etablierten Eliten. Sein Vorwurf: Viele hätten auf das politische Beben lediglich mit alten Floskeln und bekannten Erklärungen reagiert.
In der anschließenden Debatte mit Beatrix von Storch geht es um den sogenannten vorpolitischen Raum, Medien, staatlich finanzierte Strukturen und die Frage, ob die AfD nach einem Ergebnis von rund 44 Prozent überhaupt noch glaubwürdig eine Außenseiterrolle für sich beanspruchen kann.
Poschardt kritisiert zugleich problematische Akteure und Strömungen im Umfeld der AfD und fordert Klarheit bei zentralen Fragen wie Westbindung, EU, Russland und sozialer Marktwirtschaft. Von Storch weist Teile der Kritik zurück, räumt aber ein, dass bestimmte Aktivisten aus dem AfD-Umfeld Grenzen überschreiten.
