Zetro Leonardo Purba, staf KBRI Lima, Peru, tewas ditembak orang tak dikenal saat pulang kerja pada Senin malam (1/9/2025).Jenazah Zetro dipulangkan ke Indonesia hari ini, Selasa (9/9/2025), sementara otoritas Peru masih menyelidiki pelaku dan motif penembakan.
Diplomat berusia 40 tahun itu sempat dilarikan ke Klinik Javier Prado, namun nyawanya tidak tertolong. Istrinya yang berada di lokasi selamat dan kini mendapat perlindungan kepolisian setempat.
Penembakan terjadi di Distrik Lince, sekitar 1,5 kilometer dari gedung KBRI. Kepolisian Peru menyebut pelaku adalah pembunuh bayaran (sicariato) yang kabur dengan sepeda motor. Menteri Dalam Negeri Peru, Carlos Malaver, menegaskan tidak ada barang berharga yang hilang, sehingga kuat dugaan korban memang menjadi target. Media lokal La Republica melaporkan, polisi menduga adanya keterlibatan jaringan kriminal “One Family”.
