JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Tokoh Gerakan Nurani Bangsa, Laode M. Syarief mengatakan salah satu usulan GNB adalah membuat tim independen agar lebih jelas siapa yg ada di balik demo yang terjadi pada akhir Agustus 2025."Banyak kalangan aktivis atau civil society group, ketika mengatakan ini diorkestrasi dari luar, semua geleng-geleng kepala. Orang enggak percaya," katanya.
Anggota Komisi III DPR/ Fraksi Partai Demokrat, Benny K. Harman menilai aksi unjuk rasa yang terjadi akhir Agustus ada yang genuine namun ada pula yang ditunggangi.
"Yang genuine, tuntutannya masuk akal. Harus kita apresiasi. Yang kedua (pendompleng) harus dilacak. Yang kita minta juga adalah melakukan penjarahan tolong polisi dikejar, siapa pelakunya. Tim investigasi diperlukan untuk mengetahui apa penyebab masalah ini. Saya yakin pemerintah tahu apa penyebabnya," katanya.
Komisioner Kompolnas, Choirul Anam mengatakan banyak ruang digital yang bisa ditelusuri untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya makar di balik aksi demo Agustus.
"Saya setuju adanya tim investigasi independen, sehingga publik mendapatkan hak atas kebenaran informasi. Kita bisa bikin satu sistem biar tidak berulang kembali. Siapapun yang bersalah, harus dihukum," katanya.
