Gold hat Anfang Oktober erstmals die Marke von 4.000 Dollar pro Unze überschritten. Viele fragen sich, warum der Preis so stark steigt und wie es weitergeht. „Dem Geldsystem geht's nicht gut. Also geht das Geld in das Sachkapital Aktien, aber auch in Gold und Silber. Das Geldsystem ist angeschlagen wegen der Überschuldung der Welt. Gold ist die letztlich - ich hätte fast totsicher gesagt - verbliebene Anlageklasse, die seit 6.000 Jahren frisch ist. Der Trend ist bei Privaten und Institutionellen angekommen. Es gibt ein sogenanntes Momentum", so Robert Halver. Der Experte von der Baader Bank weiter: „Selbst bei Gold - wo alles dafür spricht, dass es längerfristig weiter nach oben geht - das unterschreibe ich zu jeder Tages- und Nachzeit, wird es aber trotzdem auch heißen müssen, es gibt keine Einbahnstraße. Es gibt Konsolidierungen. Aber die großen Investoren wie die Notenbanken kaufen kontinuierlich. Gold ist nicht beliebig vermehrbar, Geld ist beliebig vermehrbar."
