To conclude, having long-term commitments is fine, but treat every one of them seriously. And just as Elizabeth Hoyt said: “Don’t make promises you cannot keep.” Every time you make any commitments, think about it, and then implement, thank you. I am just an ordinary young person, full of hope for life, indignant about many things, and sometimes blindly confident due to impulsiveness. Sometimes, this kind of irrational confidence manifests itself in small and everyday promises. However, these types of promises can create huge problems. I realized this, and found that not only I, but many of my classmates around me, are in the same situation. I believe that we fail to recognize this small but fatal problem because even if we realize the mistake, no one points it out. As a confident, responsible, and critically thinking young man, I believe it's time for me to represent others and reveal the essence of this situation, thus providing a more objective analysis. This is not only an articulation of my thoughts, but also a significant self-reflection for me. This is also the main reason why I chose to participate in TEDx for the second time.
