Sosok tersebut ternyata bernama Pionus Gwijangge pria berusia 23 tahun.
Pionus ternyata merupakan keponakan dari pimpinan KKB Egianus Kogoya.
Ia tewas seusai jatuh ke jurang saat baku tembak dengan aparat.
Kabar itu dikonfirmasi oleh Kepala Operasi Damai Cartenz Brigjen Faizal Ramadhani pada Kamis (12/6).
"Iya benar, satu anggota KKB yang tewas saat kontak tembak dengan Satgas Gakkum Operasi Damai Cartenz dan jatuh ke jurang adalah keponakan Egianus Kogoya bernama Pionus Gwijangge alias Perampok Gwijangge," kata Brigjen Faizal.
Brigjen Faizal mengatakan Pionus mengalami luka tembak di bagian dada kanan.
Pionus kemudian jatuh ke jurang dan dinyatakan tewas di lokasi kejadian.
Jenazah Pionus dievakuasi ke RSUD Wamena menggunakan amublans.
Buntut baku tembak tersebut aparat mengamankan ponsel milik Egianus Kogoya.
Dari ponsel tersebut ditemukan fakta bahwa Egianus memiliki kebun ganja di Distrik Kurima, Yahukimo, Papua. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
