Insiden yang terjadi pada Rabu, (18/6/2025) ini sontak membuat warga panik, lantaran terjadi pada dini hari, pukul 02.00 WIB, tepat di saat warga tengah tertidur lelap.
Air dengan ketinggian 1,5 hingga 2,5 meter itu memaksa warga untuk menyelamatkan barang berharga di tengah malam yang gelap.
Menurut keterangan salah satu saksi kejadian, Sutaman (75), air mengalir deras dan memaksa masuk ke rumah-rumah warga melalui pintu dan jendela.
Menurut keterangan warga setempat, Sutaman, ketinggian banjir diperkirakan mencapai 1,5 meter hingga 2,5 meter.
Diketahui total ada 110 kepala keluarga yang terdampak gegara banjir akibat limpasan dari Sungai Renggong.
