Sono stati assolti gli schermidori Lapo Jacopo Pucci ed Emanuele Nardella, perché il fatto non sussiste. I due giovani, 20 e 22 anni all’epoca dei fatti, accusati di aver violentato una ragazza allora minorenne in un ritiro tra nazionali giovanili di scherma a Chianciano Terme (Siena).
L’episodio risale alla notte tra il 4 e 5 agosto 2023. La presunta vittima, di origine messicana ma in pedana per la nazionale uzbeka, aveva presentato denuncia prima in Toscana e poi a Roma, dove in seguito alla visita in ospedale era scattato il codice rosa. La ragazza al termine dell'udienza era visibilmente scossa e ai microfoni ha detto: «A tutte le persone che mi stanno vicino, a tutte le mie compagne di squadra, a mia mamma, alla mia famiglia, prometto che le cose non finiranno così».
