Indonesia Budget LIVE: President's Prabowo Says Wealth Should 'Enrich Everyone' Not Just a Few

Indonesia's president Prabowo Subianto will deliver proposals and targets for the 2027 budget. The budget estimate will be submitted to the parliament for further deliberation. In previous parliamentary sessions he said a new state export firm will monitor strategic commodity shipments and help recover billions in potential export revenue.

"We do not ⁠want the Indonesian ⁠people to be cheated anymore. Indonesia's wealth must not enrich a select few while leaving our people to live in hardship," as reports revealed an estimated $5 billion difference in the export proceeds and the actual proceeds.
