In this video, Matthew King responds to a comment on a Music Professor short about Spielberg's movie Jaws (https://youtube.com/shorts/-hj7Ic2PTl8?si=h49kib2hQuIVgI8E). The comment asked,
"How about Stravinsky's input on John William's score? Would love your take on that." So this video is all about John Williams and his indebtedness to great Hollywood composers like Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Bernard Herrmann. Matthew King then goes on to analyse the Jaws theme tune, and notices very striking similarities with Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.
