26 Orang Tewas, 171 Korban Terluka Buntut Insiden Jet Bangladesh Jatuh Hantam Sekolah di Dhaka

TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM- Pesawat jet latih F‑7 BGI milik Angkatan Udara Bangladesh mengalami laka udara pada Senin (21/7/2025) siang waktu setempat.

Pesawat tersebut jatuh hingga membakar habis gedung dua lantai di sekolah yang berada di ibu kota Dhaka.

Akibatnya, pilot dan 26 orang tewas dan lebih dari 171 lainnya mengalami luka bakar.

Dilansir dari apnews.com, sebagian besar yang mengalami luka bakar ialah pelajar.

Terkini korban luka telah dievakuasi menuju ke rumah sakit untuk mendapatkan perawatan intensif.

Para korban dievakuasi menggunakan helikopter hingga ambulans serta dibantu petugas pemadam kebakaran.

Pihak dokter mengatakan Senin (21/7) malam bahwa kondisi sekitar dua lusin korban luka masih kritis.

Kemudian, para korban tewas sudah diserahkan kepada keluarga.

Sementara itu, beberapa jenazah yang hangus terbakar tidak dapat dikenali lagi dan mungkin memerlukan tes DNA untuk pencocokannya.

Juru bicara militer, Letnan Kolonel Sami Ud Dowla Chowdhury menyatakan, jet tersebut mengalami kerusakan mekanis seusai usai lepas landas.

Pilot, Flight Lieutenant Towkir Islam, saat itu sudah berupaya semaksimal mungkin mengarahkan pesawat menjauh dari kawasan padat penduduk sebelum akhirnya menabrak bangunan dua lantai di kampus Milestone School and College, Uttara.
