Hitzewelle in Deutschland: Wetterdienst warnt vor extremer Hitze
Deutschland ächzt unter der ersten großen Hitzewelle. Die hohen Temperaturen von nahezu 40 Grad, die bis Mitte der Woche erwartet werden, belasten den Körper. Besonders für ältere, kranke oder obdachlose Menschen ist die Hitze eine große Gefahr.Der Deutsche Wetterdienst warnt vor starker und teils extremer Wärme fast im ganzen Land. Im Südwesten sind bis zu 38 Grad angesagt. Dort könnte es vereinzelt kräftige Gewitter geben.
Alte, Kranke, Obdachlose: Die Hitzewelle setzt vor allem den vulnerablen Gruppen stark zu. Dabei sind viele Einrichtungen wie Heime und Krankenhäuser nicht gut auf die Hitze vorbereitet.
Am Mittwoch soll dann der Höhepunkt der aktuellen Hitzewelle erreicht werden. In großen Teilen des Landes sind dann 34 bis 38 Grad angesagt, örtlich sollen sogar bis zu 40 Grad erreicht werden.
