From politician to painter, Leah Johnson shows how quitting isn’t failure but a creative act of courage and transformation. Leah Johnson is a former elected official turned artist, author, and transformational guide who helps people reconnect with creativity and reclaim their joy. After 25 years in politics—including national campaigns and a city council seat—she burned out under the weight of perfectionism and pressure. Success on the outside felt hollow within.

Her healing began not with policy, but with paintbrushes. Through spiritual and creative inquiry, Leah shed the roles she was told to play and found her vibrant, authentic self. Now, she helps others do the same.

Leah is the founder of Finding Fantastic Joy, leading retreats in sacred spaces like Teotihuacán, Mexico.
