I really enjoyed the original playtest, and this time it feels even smoother to play. Even though I'm unsure if anything specific changed, the Lothaire boss fight felt a lot more natural this time around, without the slight awkwardness I felt before due to the first person perspective.
The second boss doesn't feel too much like a boss, but moreso a mini-boss, which would make sense considering the mission still seems to continue after it ends in the demo. But it was nice to be able to see a few more unlocks and how the game pans out.
My only other feedback was to make dodging feel a bit more useful overall. While the dodging itself feels decent, the game is incredibly biased towards parrying, which I guess is to be expected given there's sword fighting. But the difference in effectiveness of parrying vs dodging is huge, especially with how much stagger damage it does. So I was hoping there'd be ways to enhance dodging to make it a more viable option. Other than that though the game is a lot of fun, and I can't wait for it.
