Группа Photophobia (мед. - светобоязнь) была основана зимой 2010 года финном U. Morbid (Fornicatus, Tunes of Despair) и итальянцем Letaliis (ex-Deep-pression, ex-Funeral Veil, ex-Oppressive Light), дабы, разумеется, выразить свои глубочайшие переживания и проанализировать скорбь в своих душах. Само собой, лирика коллектива посвящена суициду, убийствам, гневу и прочим негативным вещам.
Дискография проекта насчитывает всего два полноформатных релиза. В этом же 2010-ом году дуэт подписывает контракт с лейблом Immortal Frost Productions. Для записи своего дебютного альбома музыкантам понадобилось буквально несколько месяцев. Так, в ноябре 2010 года состоялся выход "Humana Fragilitas", что с латыни можно перевести как "человеческая слабость". Партии баса помог записать A. Morbid, урождённый Скотт Андрэйд, известный по работе с Happy Days, Deep-pression и другими, который стал полноправным участником коллектива.
