في هذه الحلقة من بودكاست ميكروفون، تحاور سلمى الدالي الناشط الحقوقي جمال عيد في رحلة تمتد من سنوات مبارك إلى ثورة يناير وما تلاها، وصولًا إلى اللحظة الراهنة.لماذا كانت يناير، في نظر من شاركوا فيها، لحظة مضيئة لا يمكن نسيانها؟ وكيف تغيّر المجتمع المصري بعد 2013؟ وهل يمكن أن نقبل التعذيب حين يقع على خصومنا؟ ولماذا ارتبط العمل الحقوقي في مصر باتهامات التمويل والعمالة؟ وهل الدفاع عن حقوق الإخوان يعني الدفاع عن الإخوان سياسيًا؟
يتحدث جمال عيد كذلك عن تجربته في العمل الحقوقي، وعن علاقته بالشرطة والسلطة، وقصة رفضه منصب وزير العدالة الانتقالية، وعن الشباب الذين أصبح حلم كثير منهم مغادرة مصر، كما يستعيد حكايات من تاريخ القمع والعمل العام، من بينها قصة الشاعر منير حنا الذي سُجن بسبب قصيدة.
حلقة عن الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان، وعن يناير التي لا تُنسى، وعن المسافة التي قطعتها مصر بين لحظة الأمل وما جاء بعدها.
