Need to patch a Spring app after open source support ends? I'll show you how to apply an enterprise fix without a major upgrade. I'll also explain where TrueSource fits if you need verified libraries, container images, or support for databases and messaging.

I start with the three parts of TrueSource, then look at a Spring security advisory and the fixes available for Spring Boot 3.5. In a real order service, I check the dependencies and baseline tests, apply a patch with Application Advisor, and review the changes and their source. Then I run the tests and check the endpoints. I finish with how this works across repositories and three questions to ask before adopting: which Spring Boot lines you run, how your builds will reach the enterprise repository, and where Advisor will run.
