Langkah militer Bangkok kian membuat konflik di dua negara di Asia Tenggara ini kian memanas.
Angkatan Laut Thailand melancarkan operasi "Trat Pikhat Pairee 1" (Serangan Trat 1) terhadap pasukan Kamboja.
Serangan menyasar tiga titik di sepanjang perbatasan, setelah tentara Kamboja dilaporkan memperluas posisinya.
Sekretariat Negara Kamboja untuk Penerbangan Sipil Sin Chansereyvutha merespons tindakan Thailand.
Ia mengatakan, pesawat dapat terbang di atas zona konflik jika berada di atas 11 kilometer (6,8 mil).
Sebelumnya, militer Thailand juga mengerahkan enam jet F-16 miliknya ke Kamboja.
Dua target militer di wilayah Kamboja rusak akibat serangan jet tersebut.
Sementara Kamboja turut meluncurkan roket dalam pertempuran tersebut.
Kedua negara pun saling menuduh sebagai pihak yang memulai baku tembak.
