Pelaku bernama Andreas tersebut nekat menghabisi korban Alex karena emosi tak mendapatkan kasbon.
Dalam rilis pada Selasa (3/6), Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra mengungkapkan, tersangka sakit hati karena korban memarahi dirinya dan menolak memberikan pinjaman uang senilai Rp 3-5 juta.
Menurut tersangka, kala itu korban membandingkan Andreas dengan karyawan lain yang dinilai lebih rajin bekerja.
Lantaran emosi, tersangka kemudian mendorong Alex, namun kala itu korban sempat memukul pipi Andrea.
Keduanya kemudian bergumul hingga membuat korban terjatuh.
Tersangka yang masih diliputi rasa emosi kemudian mengambil kardus berisi air mineral yang ada di dalam toko dan melemparkannya ke arah kepala korban.
Korban sempat berdiri, namun tersangka kembali menyerang menggunakan kardus tersebut hingga Alex terjatuh di kamar mandi.
Kepala korban membentur kloset hingga mengalami luka parah, bahkan saking kuatnya benturan, kloset sampai pecah.
Melihat korban yang sudah tak berdaya, Andreas menggasak uang tunai senilai Rp 84 juta di toko.
Selain uang tunai, pelaku juga membawa dua unit ponsel serta satu unit motor.
Sebagai informasi, aksi pembunuhan terhadap Alex dilakukan Andreas pada Sabtu (31/5) di toko korban.
Adapun pelaku sendiri ditangkap selang sehari dari penemuan jasad korban.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka kini terancam hukuman maksinal penjara seumur hidup.
