Thủ tướng Anh Rishi Sunak từ chức sau khi thất bại nặng nề | Báo VietNamNetTheo Sky News, trong ngày 5/7, Thủ tướng Anh Rishi Sunak đã xác nhận việc từ chức sau khi đảng của ông thất bại nặng nề trong cuộc tổng tuyển cử.
Theo kết quả kiểm phiếu tại 474 khu vực bầu cử, Công đảng đã thắng 409 ghế tại Quốc hội, trong khi đảng bảo thủ của ông Sunak chỉ giành được 120 ghế. Hiến pháp Anh quy định, một đảng cần giành được 326 ghế để chiếm đa số tại Quốc hội, lãnh đạo đảng này sau đó sẽ trở thành Thủ tướng và thành lập chính phủ mới.
