AKT DER VERZWEIFLUNG: Frau wirft Hunde von Balkon – Haus-Brand auf den PhilippinenFlammen, Rauch, Panik – und eine Frau, die zur Heldin wird. In einem mehrstöckigen Wohnhaus auf den Philippinen bricht ein Feuer aus, dichter schwarzer Rauch macht eine Rettung scheinbar unmöglich. Doch dann erscheint eine 32-Jährige auf dem Balkon. Zuerst wirft sie ihre Hunde nach unten, wo Passanten die Tiere auffangen.
Statt selbst zu fliehen, kehrt sie noch einmal ins brennende Gebäude zurück, um nach weiteren Überlebenden zu suchen. Erst mit Eintreffen der Feuerwehr rettet sie sich selbst. Angstfrei klettert sie über die Brüstung und lässt sich über eine Leiter in Sicherheit bringen. Die Frau erleidet nur leichte Verletzungen, ihre Hunde bleiben unverletzt. Im Netz wird sie jetzt als Heldin gefeiert.
