What to do when you don't get your Dream Department or Institute?
Only a small minority of students are truly happy with the Department AND Institute they get allocated during JOSAA Counselling. For the majority of students, they are either not happy with the Department or their Institute, and for many students, they are not happy with both.This video is meant to help these students understand the opportunities that are there irrespective of their Department, and the pride they should develop for their Institute.
What can they do to develop this understanding?
1. Learn what professional engineers from their Departments are doing.
2. Find what kind of cutting edge research is going on these Departments.
3. Learn how AI is being combined with classical engineering activities within their Department.
4. Get familiar with the National Level Missions that are critically dependent on the know-how and expertise of many non-circuital Departments.
5. Learn about the illustrious alumni of their Institute.
6. Learn about the legacy and history of their Institute.
6. Set up a Google Alert for news related to their Institute.
