JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Pengacara Hotman Paris Hutapea menyinggung Menteri Keuangan Purbaya Yudhi soal kebijakan bunga deposito yang turun.

Hotman menyebut bahwa kebijakan yang dibuat Menkeu Purbaya sudah merugikan bisnisnya. Meski begitu, ia tetap mendukung pemerintah demi kepentingan bangsa.

Hal itu disampaikan Hotman pada akun Instagramnya @hotmanparisofficial pada Kamis (2/10/2025).

"Deposito saya sebesar pokoknya Rp53 miliar. Semula bunga depositonya 5% per tahun oleh bank dikasih tahu hanya sekitar 2,5% per tahun pada saat saya perpanjang hari ini. Jadi rugi saya setengah dari pendapatan saya. Bayangkan dari 53 miliar itu belum lagi ratusan miliar yang lain," kata Hotman.

"Namun tetap kita mendukung kalau memang itu yang terbaik bagi bangsa dan rakyat Indonesia," sambung Hotman.
