Sebab, AS mengenakan tarif sebesar 19 persen terhadap produk-produk asal Indonesia.
Sementara produk AS bebas masuk ke Tanah Air tanpa tarif.
"Kalau boleh saya sampaikan Indonesia ini atau Trump sama Prabowo skornya 3-0," ujar Huda dalam wawancara bersama Tribunnews, Kamis (17/7/2025).
Huda menambahkan, tarif 19 persen AS tak hanya berdampak ke sektor padat karya dalam negeri seperti tekstil, namun juga ke BUMN.
"Tidak masuk akal sebenarnya Garuda diwajibkan membeli 50 pesawat Boeing saat waktunya tidak pas ketika BUMN sakit," imbuhnya.
Ujung-ujungnya pemerintah sendiri yang kewalahan karena terbebani dengan biaya pembelian pesawat AS.
Huda pun berpandangan bahwa negosiasi pemerintahan Prabowo terhadap Trump soal tarif impor merupakan keberhasilan semu.
Menurutnya, perlu ada evaluasi untuk tim negosiator agar Indonesia tidak dirugikan dalam hal ini.
"Kita menuntut harus ada evaluasi terhadap tim negosiator yang dari pemerintah karena apa yang kita harapkan tidak terpenuhi," pungkas Huda.
