Sono bastate poche ore ai carabinieri per identificare l’uomo che avrebbe sottratto un condizionatore portatile da una delle sale d’attesa dell’Istituto dei tumori Pascale di Napoli. Un lavoro meticoloso quello dei militari della Compagnia Vomero, agevolato dalle immagini in alta definizione registrate dal sistema di videosorveglianza recentemente installato nella struttura ospedaliera.
Le indagini sono partite dalla denuncia di furto presentata dalla direzione dell’Istituto. Secondo quanto ricostruito attraverso le immagini, frame dopo frame, un dipendente di una società esterna appaltatrice di servizi avrebbe prima avvolto il dispositivo con un sacchetto di plastica nero e, approfittando dell’assenza di pazienti, lo avrebbe caricato su un carrello e poi nella propria auto.
La targa del veicolo, ripresa con chiarezza dalle telecamere, avrebbe consentito ai militari di risalire all’uomo e successivamente di individuare anche il condizionatore, che è stato recuperato e restituito all’ospedale.
