Un insegnante di lettere entra ogni giorno in classe con bombetta, tabarro e baffi a manubrio. La sua storia è diventata virale, ma dietro il "costume" si nasconde una filosofia di vita autentica e una passione didattica fuori dal comune.

Ivan Mecca è un professore di lettere di 34 anni, di origini lucane, che insegna a Torino con uno stile inconfondibile: baffi a manubrio, abito a tre pezzi con giacca a quattro bottoni, lobbia o bombetta e tabarro a mezza ruota. Un look in perfetto stile edoardiano che i passanti scambiano ogni giorno per un elaborato costume, fermandolo per strada per chiedergli una foto. Skuola Ma per lui non si tratta di travestimento: è semplicemente il suo modo di essere. Da cinque anni Mecca è docente precario in diverse scuole del torinese — Gassino, Settimo, Carignano, Bricherasio, Pinerolo — e ora all'Istituto Comprensivo Carmagnola 3, tutti incarichi annuali.
