Sembari menundukkan kepala, Rohmat mengaku sudah 28 tahun berdinas sebagai anggota Polri.
Sepanjang menempuh kariernya di Polri, ia tak pernah tersandung kasus pidana, sidang disiplin, maupun sidang etik.
Pihaknya berharap masih bisa bertugas di Polri hingga waktu pensiun tiba.
Ia kembali menunduk, menangis sembari mengepalkan tangan dan memukulkan ke dada.
Suaranya meninggi dan bergetar menyebut dirinya berjiwa Tribrata.
Yakni, melindungi, melayani, dan mengayomi masyarakat.
Lanjut Bripka Rohmat menyampaikan permintaan maaf ke keluarga almarhum Affan Kurniawan.
Ia mengaku tindakannya saat itu bukan atas kehendak pribadi, melainkan perintah atasan dari Kompol Cosmas Kaju Gae.
