Seorang warga yang tengah menggembala sapi di area persawahan Kampung Karangsambung, Desa Nagasari, Kecamatan Serang Baru, Kabupaten Bekasi, menemukan jasad korban sekitar pukul 05.30 WIB.
Menindaklanjuti laporan itu, aparat kepolisian segera melakukan penyelidikan dan berhasil menangkap sejumlah pelaku.
Empat orang pertama yang diamankan adalah AT, RS, dan RAH di kawasan Johar Baru, Jakarta Pusat, serta RW yang ditangkap di Bandara Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).
Tak berhenti di situ, polisi kemudian memburu otak di balik peristiwa ini.
Empat orang yang diduga sebagai pengendali aksi, yakni C, DH, YJ, dan AA, berhasil diamankan di lokasi berbeda. DH, YJ, dan AA ditangkap pada 23 Agustus 2025 di Solo, Jawa Tengah, sedangkan C diringkus sehari kemudian di kawasan Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta Utara.
Dengan penangkapan tersebut, jumlah total orang yang diamankan dalam kasus penculikan dan pembunuhan ini kini mencapai 15 orang.
