Dalam cuitan di akun X pribadinya @khamenei_ir, Rabu (18/6/2025), Khamenei menyebut tak takut dengan gertakan dari Trump.
Pemimping tertinggi Iran itu menegaskan bahwa Teheran tak akan tunduk dengan siapa pun.
Hal itu dibuktikan dengan serangan balasan yang diudarakan Iran ke langit Israel selama lima hari berturut-turut.
Dalam pidatonya di siaran televisi nasional, Khamenei juga mengancam bahwa setiap bentuk intervensi militer terhadap Iran akan menerima konsekuensi.
Ia menyebut bahwa Teheran tak akan tinggal diam untuk menghadapi tindakan militer dari negara lain yang akan membahayakan Iran.
Menurutnya, perdamaian hanya akan terwujud jika disepakati secara adil bukan dipaksa melalui kekuatan senjata.
Diketahui bahwa pernyataan itu keluar, menyusul meningkatnya kekhawatiran internasional soal konflik terbuka antara Iran dan Israel yang dapat meluas.
