IRAN-KRIEG: Trumps Machtwort wirkt? Israel und Libanon wollen Waffenruhe durchsetzen | LIVE

Israel und der Libanon haben sich nach Angaben des US-Außenministeriums auf einen Weg zur Umsetzung der bisher faktisch kaum wirksamen Waffenruhe geeinigt. Die Waffenruhe sei abhängig von einer kompletten Einstellung der Angriffe der proiranischen Hisbollah-Miliz gegen Israel, hieß es in einer gemeinsamen Erklärung nach Gesprächen zwischen israelischen und libanesischen Regierungsvertreten in Washington.

Im aktuellen Konflikt stehen sich Israel und die Schiiten-Miliz gegenüber. Die libanesische Regierung ist selbst keine Kriegspartei - und hat auch nur begrenzt Einfluss auf die Hisbollah. Die mit Teheran verbündete Miliz ist nicht an den Gesprächen beteiligt. Sie sieht Verhandlungen mit Israel als Kapitulation an.
