Presiden Prancis Macron Akan Akui Palestina, Trump: Pernyataan Tidak Berbobot

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden Amerika Serikat Donald Trump merespons pernyataan Presiden Prancis Emmanuel Macron yang akan mengakui Palestina sebagai negara.

Saat ditanya para jurnalis terkait rencana Macron tersebut, Trump mengatakan bahwa pernyataan Presiden Prancis tersebut merupakan pernyataan yang tidak berbobot.

"Apa yang dia katakan tidak penting. Dia orang yang sangat baik. Saya menyukainya, tetapi pernyataan itu tidak berbobot," kata Trump kepada para wartawan di Gedung Putih, Jumat (25/7/2025).

Macron sendiri sebelumnya mengumumkan akan mengakui Palestina sebagai sebuah negara. Pengakuan itu kabarnya akan ia buat dalam Sidang Umum PBB pada September mendatang.
