İran İslam Cumhuriyeti'nin mimarı Ayetullah Humeyni, "Ordu, milletin kalesi ve bağımsızlığının koruyucusudur" demişti.

İran rejimi, 1979'daki İslam Devrimi'nin 47.yılında, ordu dahil tüm unsurlarıyla, ayakta kalma mücadelesi veriyor.

Humeyni'nin halefi, dini lider Ayetullah Ali Hamaney, ABD ve İsrail'in 28 Şubat'ta İran'a başlattıkları saldırıların ilk gününde çok sayıda yetkiliyle birlikte öldürüldü.

Bu saldırı, ABD ve İsrail ile İran'ın savaşının, Haziran 2025'teki 12 gün savaşından çok farklı olacağını gözler önüne serdi.
