EAM Jaishankar Meets Russia's FM Lavrov Ahead of Modi, Putin MeetIndia’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is on a visit to Kazakhstan for the two-day Shanghai Alliance Summit. He met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of the summit. India and Russia held these talks to strengthen their strategic partnership. This is a key bilateral between the two countries and their officials as it comes days ahead of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi later this month.
