Dalam pertemuan tersebut salah satu yang dibahas yakni persiapan SEA Games 2025 Thailand.
Menpora Erick menyebut pada SEA Games Thailand nanti sebanyak 41 nomor pertandingan yang sebelumnya jadi torehan emas bagi kontingen Indonesia, tidak akan dipertandingkan lagi.
Dengan begitu, Indonesia yang pada SEA Games kamboja finish di peringkat ketiga dengan torehan 87 emas kemungkinan ranking Indonesia akan turun saat tampil di SEA Games Thailand.
Dalam persiapan ini, Menpora Erick juga mengatakan dirinya bakal menemui Menteri Keuangan, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa guna meminta anggaran tambahan.
Pasalnya, saat ini anggaran kontingen Indonesia untuk tampil di SEA Games hanya Rp 10 miliar.
Jumlah tersebut dinilai sangat kurang terlebih kontingen Indonesia ingin terus menjaga prestasi setidaknya finish di tiga besar.
Hal senada juga dikatakan Ketum NOC Indonesia, Raja Sapta Oktohari. Okto sapaan akrabnya berharap dalam persiapan SEA Games ini tambahan anggaran bisa diberikan lagi oleh Kemenkeu.
Di samping itu, Okto juga meminta kepada para cabang olahraga untuk fokus menempa para atletnya jelang tampil di SEA Games Thailand, Desember mendatang.
