Ольга Русинова — Немедный всадник: как расшифровать главный монумент Лисса?
Представьте: вы стоите на главной площади столицы Португалии перед колоссальной статуей из бронзы и белого камня. Кажется, что этот триумфальный монумент понятен без перевода. Но вот незадача — сам автор памятника, Машаду де Каштру, был уверен, что без специального кода вы не считаете и половины его замысла.В 1775 году он публикует оду, которая работает не как дежурная лесть монарху, а как настоящий мануал по взлому смыслов, превращающий немую статую в многослойный визуальный ребус.
Мы возьмем этот поэтический ключ и попробуем выяснить, зачем скульптору понадобилось переводить королевскую статую на язык рифм и как одно стихотворение способно в одиночку сконструировать восприятие целого монумента.
