Heute zu Gast: Melf von MP Planting mit dem Horizon DSX Strip-Till Gerät. Wir gehen das Gerät Schritt für Schritt durch — von der Kulterscheibe über Räumer, Parallelogramm-Führung, Zinken mit verschiedenen Scharspitzen bis zu den Begrenzerscheiben und pneumatisch beaufschlagten Rückverfestigungsrollen. Das Gerät gibt's von 3 bis 9 m, mit 45er bis 75er Reihenabstand, und lässt sich mit Granulat-, Flüssig- oder Güllemodul kombinieren — auch Doppelkombination Flüssigtank hinten + Granulat vorne möglich.
Besonders spannend: das Winterstrip-Till Konzept für schwere Tonböden — im Herbst tief aufreißen, Boden über Winter offen liegen lassen, Frostgare reinarbeiten, im Frühjahr nur noch flach auffrischen und säen. Und die Depotdüngung mit normalem Harnstoff — weil der Dünger unter der Erde platziert wird, ist Urease kein Problem und man spart den teuren Hemmer komplett. Massive Kostenersparnis.
Live gezeigt: Wasserapplikation mit 200 l/ha direkt in den Streifen — der Unterschied ist sofort sichtbar, das Korn liegt im Wasser. Dazu ein ehrliches Gespräch über Verschleiß (80–600 ha je nach Boden), Grenzen des Geräts bei langem Stroh und optimale Geschwindigkeit (8–10 km/h). Und dann noch: Precision Planting hat uns beim Mais-Vergleich wieder in den Kopf gebracht was möglich ist — und das macht unser Konto nervös.
Zum Abschluss: kleiner Wermutstropfen — der geplante zweite Testtag auf härteren Böden ist ausgefallen weil die Spritze schon angebaut war. Wird nachgeholt.
