El canciller de China, Wang Yi, afirmó que las tensiones entre Afganistán y Pakistán solo pueden resolverse mediante el diálogo y la consulta, y advirtió que el uso de la fuerza agravaría la situación y pondría en riesgo la estabilidad regional.Durante una conversación telefónica con su homólogo afgano, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, solicitada por Kabul, Wang subrayó la importancia de mantener la calma y resolver las diferencias por vías diplomáticas. Además, aseguró que continuarán trabajando por la reconciliación entre Kabul e Islamabad.
