En esta charla, Laura Rodríguez muestra cómo la innovación diseñada desde miradas limitadas puede generar riesgos reales: cinturones de seguridad que ponen en peligro embarazos, algoritmos incapaces de reconocer rostros diversos o prácticas médicas basadas en modelos incompletos. A través de ejemplos y datos, evidencia que la tecnología no es neutra y que las brechas en participación femenina e interseccional —marcadas por estereotipos, falta de referentes y desigualdades estructurales— producen soluciones excluyentes. Presenta cuatro rutas para innovar con diversidad: analizar impactos diferenciados, crear soluciones para problemáticas invisibilizadas, diseñar proyectos que cierren brechas y revisar sesgos en sistemas existentes. Su mensaje es claro: integrar el diseño universal y la interseccionalidad es clave para construir tecnologías más seguras, inclusivas y humanas. Laura Rodríguez es ingeniera electrónica, magíster en telecomunicaciones e investigadora doctoral en ciudades inteligentes con enfoque de género.
