Setidaknya 900 perwira kapten dan pangkat utama Pasukan Pertahanan Israel (IDF) berbondong mengajukan berhenti dari militer.
Di saat yang bersamaan, 5000 tentara cadangan Israel juga enggan untuk kembali ke Gaza.
Dilansir dari Tribunnews.com pada Senin (1/7/2024), militer Israel menghadapi situasi genting.
Saat perang masih memanas, 900 kapten dan tentara berpangkat utama berbondong-bondong mengajukan pengunduran dirinya.
Pasalnya, angka ini naik 100 hingga 120 perwira, dari tahun sebelumnya.
Di sisi lain ribuan tentara juga mengaku enggan kembali ke Gaza karena melihat banyaknya korban jiwa di pihak militer Israel.
Oleh karena itu, Israel dikabarkan tengah dalam kondisi mengkhawatirkan.
Terlebih konfrontasi di front selatan dan utara, Lebanon dan Jalur Gaza kini juga memberikan beban berat pada sejumlah unit pasukan Zionis.
Bahkan kini tercatat, 670 tentara tewas imbas konfrontasi di Gaza.
