Air Sumur Kering, Ratusan Keluarga di Jambi Bertahan dengan Air Bantuan Mobil Tangki PDAM
JAMBI, KOMPAS.TV - Ratusan keluarga di Kelurahan Teluk Kenali, Kecamatan Telanaipura, Kota Jambi, krisis air bersih karena musim kemarau.Sumur-sumur sudah tidak lagi mengeluarkan air dan tidak bisa disedot karena permukaan air tanah sudah turun.
Kedatangan mobil tangki pembawa air bersih milik PDAM Tirta Mayang menjadi yang paling ditunggu warga Teluk Kenali, Kecamatan Telanaipura, Kota Jambi.
Sebulan sudah warga merasakan krisis air bersih. Selama musim kemarau, sumur-sumur mengering.
Warga mencoba menyedot, namun air tidak keluar karena permukaan air tanah sudah turun.
Air bantuan pun menjadi harapan untuk bisa memasak, mencuci, dan mandi.
PDAM Tirta Mayang menyalurkan 8.000 liter air bersih dengan dua unit armada. Bantuan ini digulirkan atas permintaan warga yang mulai kewalahan menghadapi krisis air bersih akibat kemarau.
Menurut warga, kondisi ini adalah yang terburuk dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Selain mengandalkan bantuan, warga berhemat sebisa mungkin.
Sedikitnya enam RT di Kelurahan Teluk Kenali terdampak kekeringan, dengan RT 04 sebagai wilayah terparah.
