TANGERANG, KOMPAS.TV - Satuan Narkoba Polresta Bandara Soekarno-Hatta mengungkap pabrik rumahan pembuatan liquid etomidate atau cairan penenang yang digunakan untuk rokok elektrik atau vape.Petugas menangkap empat pelaku yang merupakan warga negara asing.
Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Bandara Soekarno-Hatta menggerebek sebuah pabrik rumahan di Tangerang yang memproduksi cairan rokok elektrik atau vape yang berisikan zat etomidate.
Empat warga negara asing dari Malaysia, Singapura dan Tiongkok ditangkap.
Polisi menyita bahan dan alat pembuat vape etomidate seperti empat botol sabun cair yang di dalamnya berisikan cairan pembuatan likuid vape yang diduga mengandung zat kimia jenis etomidate dengan berat 4,5 kilogram, 16 buah jeriken perasa liquid, 4 buah jeriken gliserin dan 4 buah gelas ukur.
Pelaku dijerat Undang-Undang tentang Narkotika dan Undang-Undang Kesehatan dengan ancaman hukuman pidana penjara 20 tahun dan denda paling sedikit Rp8 miliar.
