TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM-Ruas jalan raya Trans Sumba, tepatnya sepanjang kawasan hutan Watukanggorok di Kecamatan Wewewa Barat, Sumba Barat Daya, berhamburan bangkai babi yang dibuang oleh oknum masyarakat yang tidak bertanggungjawab.
Kondisi itu menyebabkan bau busuk menyengat hidung setiap masyarakat yang melintas pada ruas jalan tersebut.
Apalagi bangkai babi itu dibuang dipinggir jalan raya bahkan satu ekor bangkai babi lainnya dibuang di jalan raya.
Maraknya ternak babi mati diduga karena serangan virus African Swine Fever atau penyakit demam babi Afrika yang melanda ternak babi milik masyarakat Sumba Barat Daya selama 2 bulan terakhir ini.
Seperti disaksikan POS-KUPANG.COM, Kamis 20 Februari 2025 siang, ketika memasuki kawasan hutan Watukanggoro di Kecamatan Wewewa Barat, Sumba Barat Daya, akan merasakan bau busuk menyengat hidung sepanjang jalan raya yang melintas kawasan hutan itu.
Bau tak sedap itu datang dari sejumlah bangkai babi yang dibuang oknum masyarakat yang tidak bertanggungjawab disepanjang jalan raya kawasan hutan Watukanggorok, Sumba Barat Daya.(*)
