Peristiwa tragis ini terjadi pada Sabtu (31/5/2025), diduga dipicu oleh komentar di media sosial TikTok.
Kasatreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi, Kompol Komang Yogi Arya Wiguna, menjelaskan bahwa motif pembunuhan bermula dari laporan pacar tersangka, SEW (19).
Yang merasa dilecehkan oleh korban lewat komentar bernada menghina fisik pada unggahan TikTok miliknya.
Setelah mendapat laporan tersebut, tersangka menelusuri identitas korban dan mengatur pertemuan di kediaman SEW.
Dalam pertemuan itu, Kuncoro diduga membawa senjata tajam dan langsung menyerang korban setelah melakukan klarifikasi.
Tersangka kemudian melarikan diri dan membuang senjata tajam jenis kerambit ke sungai.
Hingga saat ini, polisi masih mendalami apakah tersangka memang merencanakan pembunuhan sejak awal.
