Hal itu disampaikan oleh Presiden Siprus Nikos Christodoulides.
Ia menegaskan negaranya tidak memberikan sokongan apapun kepada Israel.
Nikos mengatakan pihaknya saat ini sedang memperjuangkan berakhirnya konflik di Timur Tengah.
Ia bersedia membantu usaha menangani bencana kemanusiaan yang terjadi di kawasan itu.
"Republik Siprus tidak terlibat dalam konflik perang dengan cara apa pun,” sebut Nikos seperti dikutip juru Bicara Pemerintah Konstantinos Letymbiotis dan dilansir dari Tribunnews pada Kamis (20/6).
Pernyataan itu disampaikan merespons ancaman Hizbullah kepada Republik Siprus.
Sebelumnya Hizbullah mengancam bakal menyerang Siprus jika ikut campur dalam konflik di Timur Tengah.
Hizbullah mengatakan tidak akan ada tempat aman dari rudalnya jika Siprus ikut campur.
Sementara itu Siprus sendiri merupakan teman dekat Israel.
