Pero mucho antes de los efectos digitales, del marketing global y de los récords de taquilla, existió una miniserie hecha para televisión en 1990. Una producción limitada, llena de tensiones internas, con un final censurado por la cadena ABC y un Pennywise que sufría ataques de pánico en el set. Nadie apostaba a que funcionara, ni siquiera el autor de la novela original. Y sin embargo, contra todo pronóstico, terminó marcando a toda una generación.
